I just hit 1000 miles on my '25 DHP 10R80 with a stage 1 Whipple with extra cooling, dual fans, Bosch high flow coolant pump, Lethal double H pipe with high flow resonators, vapor catch can, and a Steeda Stop-the-Hop kit. I cruise my neighborhood in Sport mode and a little bit of full throttle...
I went with the Whipple. I'm not concerned about the whine. Whipple is very flexible in terms of upgrading. They've got a wonderful upgrade system that's basically bolt on upgrade to go from Stage 1 to 2 to 3 and further. I'm thrilled with the throttle response and have no regrets at all.
I have the 3.55s in my 10R80 '25 DHP. I added a Whipple and if I went to a lower gear I'd need to launch in 3rd. Give those 3.55s a chance, if you aren't happy with the launch aggressiveness, look at a trans tune and a looser converter.
Wow, my '25 DHP manual has nothing in it regarding a break-in. In fact, I asked the service manager about it and he said Ford doesn't list a break-in for any of the new vehicles starting in the '24 MY. At just over 500 miles I took it to a registered tuner a Whipple dealer. The installed a Stage...
Nice write up, Neggytive. I have a '25 DHP with 3.55s in the back with a 10R80. These gears are nice in N/A, but when I put a Whipple on at just over 500 miles, wow, what a great setup. I went with an oversized intercooler, twin cooling fans, a Bosch high flow intercooler coolant pump. I also...
Yes, that is my intention. I found this image on the Levittown Ford Parts web site for the 19 x 11 PP rear wheels. I'm looking for wider rims that match the current fronts as I'm after a drag racing setup. I like the current wheel design and want to just put more rubber on the back.
I'm thinking of trying to find a pair of DH PP rear wheels to put on my '25 DH Premium. I have a Whipple and some additional enhancements on my car and am looking at going to the PP 11 inch rears (Wheel, Alloy - Ford (PR3Z-1007-V))
to run wider tires on the back. Right now I can easily torch the...
I'm wanting a bit more grip on the rear after adding a Whipple to my '25 Dark Horse. I'm mainly a drag racer, so the 9.5" fronts are fine. But I'd love to get wider 11" rims on the rear.
Yeah, a I agree. I put a Whipple on my '25 DH at just over 500 miles and added a Steeda Stop-the-Hop kit. I can spin in first, but the P Zeros hook hard with the the rear under control. Feather the throttle in first and then hammer down the rest of the way. Pulls like crazy...
I found the following regarding the Ford Spec on 5.0 motor oil recommendation:
"WSS-M2C961-A1 is a Ford motor oil specification requiring a 5W-30 full synthetic lubricant. It was developed to protect modern turbocharged engines (like EcoBoost) against premature timing chain wear and Low-Speed...
