No when autofold is on the lights still work the same, I think they turn off momentarily whilst the mirror unfolds. I changed my lamps to the dark horse version which project against the door when the mirrors are folded. I changed 740-02-10 As built was 0105 0100 0060 to 0105 0300 0062...

Thanks mate. I only changed the 2 codes (740-02-10 and 741) and that seems to have fixed it. Leaving the mirrors on no fold and it works like it should. Can finally use my dark horse puddle lights.

Exactly. That's the problem, power fold mirrors have lights that point straight down, the Dark Horse lamps are angled. So when they illuminate they are half pointing at the door. You can see that in the second picture. Unfortunately they don't make a dark horse version that suits the power fold...

They are a specific side. They face the right way, it's a power fold issue. US Dark Horses don't have power fold mirrors, hence why we get the pony logo

I think it's lights also, it's on all the cars, something to do with seeing the lighting or both sides from all angles. I have seen a more detailed explanation somewhere.

No stress. Thread is here to discuss oil separators etc. I will say I find this new design much better to remove and empty the cans. Just disconnect, lift off the bracket and empty (tip it out, from the bottom half...). I only emptied my s550 twice. I almost cross threaded my previous one...
