I will check with my local dealer regarding paint. I can't imagine Ford not allowing for a color match. If they won't paint it I will take it up higher. That is just not acceptable considering the cost of the car.
I wonder if they would deny the repairs if you have a chance on their dime to...
Here is what the dealer printed out for me. The body shop has to do the work. I hope they paint over the mess this sealant leaves. There were another 7 pages of instructions for testing the fix.
The downside to this is it is solar powered. How is it supposed to stay charged if you park indoors and only drive on weekends? BTW it is on sale for Prime Days.
Yes I do live in Arizona. The first time I visited it hit 128. It was so hot it was bad for tourism so they moved the official thermometer to a different location within the city where it was cooler. Now it only hits 125. Then the wife said let's retire to Lake Havasu. It's a dry heat...
My Mustang is exactly like yours including the louvers and a trunk liner. The only difference is the bronze package. I suspect the excess heat is coming from the exhaust. I know the temp has been higher when I go to remove my wife's metal walker from the trunk and it is almost too hot to lift...
Is there a fix for the excess trunk heat? I put a remote temp gauge inside the trunk and drove around town. The temp went to 102 inside. If it had been a hotter day then I am sure it would have registered even higher. Putting groceries in there would be a mistake.
Is there a company out...
I am looking for mounting options. I don't want it rolling around either in the cabin or the trunk.
A side note. If you are dragging or racing your car and you crash or it burns it probably won't be covered by your insurance. Check your policy under Exclusions for both Liability to persons...
I know this has been covered before but the answer never came. So many people said just let it burn if their Mustang caught fire.
Twice in my neighborhood I have had to use a fire extinguisher from my truck on other peoples cars. The first was when my neighbors truck was parked half way...
I was driving on a mountain road with lots of slow curves so I tried using the paddle shifters in manual mode. With my foot off the gas I tried down shifting to reduce speed for the next corner. The engine revved and then the trans shifted down. Is this normal? Why would it blip rev before...
I have that same wire hanging down along with the blue wire also hanging down. And that bolt is also hanging too low. I will have the dealer address all three at my first oil change. They could easily be damaged by road debris. I am just too old to crawl under there and try to fix it myself...
