Ford for legal reasons lists All Suspension bolts and nuts as Remove and Discard in the service manual. They show you a nice pretty picture of that. I have re-installed the original bolts once and never had a problem but that doesn't mean the bolts wont eventually snap or the nuts work loose...

The confusion is caused from the Workshop manual listing 9.5qt. The owners manual shows 10qt. That is for all 5.0L 'Yotes, PP included. 10 quarts of oil with a new filter puts the oil fill 1 hash mark from the top on my car, 9.5qts would be closer to the middle. ./
