  1. 2025 Paint Colors

I would love a green like BMWā€™s Java Green, and a decent shade of red like the Tundra has. The current interior colors besides black and gray just donā€™t look good to me.
  2. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

It can't hurt to do it. I did a break in oil change at 1,000 miles in my Kona N (but that's a turbo engine that runs high boost). My '23 M4 required a service at 1,600 miles and it is provided by BMW without charge, consisting of an oil/filter change and a rear differential fluid flush...
  3. Mustang B&O compared to Explorer B&O?

I just tried out the B&O. The salesman let me sit in it for as long as I wanted. I tried all the settings and EQ adjustments and with a variety of music styles through USB with high def audio. Itā€™s not a bad system, but it isnā€™t great. Sure, it beats a lot of base OEM systems but if youā€™re...
  4. Quality is not job One at Flatrock

Slightly off topic, but I ordered a 2022 Mustang GT and when it arrived, I turned it down. The center leather panel in the passenger seat was sewn in crooked, the plastic flashing was still sticking out on the seam of the door handle and felt like a knife when you grabbed it, and the rear carpet...
  5. Mustang B&O compared to Explorer B&O?

I was watching the video below of a stereo install on the last gen. At the 7:09 mark he talks about an amp integration kit and says that Ford is being weird because the stereo is branded B&O but the amp (and subsequently the kit he has to use) is Sony.
  6. Should I keep my Oxford White order or switch to Race Red?

I support the Oxford white choice. I could have leaned red if it was rapid red metallic, but Iā€™ve always found race red to fall kind of flat.
  7. Cross shopping Dark Horse with C8/M4

I had a 16 GT, which I traded for the LC 500. Then I got my ā€˜23 M4 manual. I still donā€™t like the front end. But DAMN is it fun to drive. The S58 is an inline 6, not a V6, and while not as thrilling as the coyote, it sounds OK stock and pretty awesome with a single midpipe. Just a couple mods...
  8. Factory Matte Clear Film Now Available For 2024 Mustang

My '23 BMW M4 is completely wrapped in stealth PPF. The shop that completed the work is top notch and they have worked on many of my vehicles. I can tell you it takes a LOT of time and a LOT of experience to get the job looking decent, and no matter what it requires several visits afterwards...
  9. Anyone Else Amazed at the 10R80 in the S650 vs S550?

I think one of the big issues with the S550 rentals was the learning software of the transmission. It can't adapt to a driving style if every 50 miles you get a new driver. The last one I had was really jerky so I followed instructions from a post on Mustang6G to reset the TCM and wipe the...
  10. Anyone Else Amazed at the 10R80 in the S650 vs S550?

Iā€™m glad I came across this thread. Iā€™m thinking of getting a mustang again. My ā€˜16 was a manual and I liked it. I travel for work a lot and have had several rental automatic S550s both ecoboost and GT and every single one has had a transmission that was so bad it felt broken. The 10 speed in my...
  11. GT lowered on aftermarket suspension: RTR coilovers, Steeda sway bars, spacers + more mods

Iā€™m in the same boat. I have a manual G82 and I just canā€™t grow to love it. Itā€™s been 9 months since I got it and my feeling is just ā€œmehā€.
