Where in the DMV. There are three shops I recommend to people:
Elite Imports in Ft Meade, MD
GR Automotive in Beltsville (my favorite)
Kinetic Autowerks
im no expert but the advantage of coilover is the adjustability in height and rebound/compression. With coilover dampers (shocks or struts) they allow you to run a higher spring rate because they are valves to do so. For track use, drivers run coilovers to make adjustments for high speed and low...
Bill Wise at Burnt Mills in Silver Spring. Person I trust the most for mustang work and send everybody to.
Revolution Automotive is another option. My car is there now finishing up a roll bar install I started. They work with/for RTR and CJ pony Parts a lot.
I think the basics depends on where you live and driving style.
Some things to consider as quick fixes can be:
-exhaust wrap to help with diff temp
-75w140 diff fluid to help with diff temp
-add water wetter to radiator
-Vorshlag brake cooling vanes
-high temp brake fluid
Lol yea you were pretty close. I expect the DHS to be around $115-$120k which is what I predicted.
The S might be more my sure being that to order a DHR, multimatic asks for the racing team info. The S might be more geared for weekend track enthusiast.
I’m very excited for the next release.
I see where you are coming from. But isnt there also going to be a GT4 model? I think the s550 GT4 sold for around $250k? So if you are right, then i guess for the money you can either get a track only car or a street legal GT3 (assuming the s650 GT4 stays the sasme price). I guess i am...
My assumption is street legal version. They already have DHS and DHR which to my knowledge have not been ordered yet. With the 500 and 350 not in production, this can become the “high ticket” mustang in the near future (7 years). It can compete in a way with cars that’s typically not in its...
Probably won’t be able to afford it anyways but has anybody seen pricing for the Dark Horse S? I predicted around $120k but curious if there is anything official.
