We’re excited to offer forum members an exclusive opportunity to get an early look at the new F17 Plus!

We are currently recruiting testers and will send the F17 Plus free of charge in exchange for honest feedback. Testers are not required to pay any fees and can keep the dashcam for future use. All we ask for is an honest product review.

The F17 Plus is our latest four-channel dashcam. It doesn’t have unnecessary features and focuses on clear image quality with full coverage inside and outside the car, providing you with extra peace of mind on the road.

The front camera records in 2.7K and features the Sony starlight IMX675 sensor, enhanced with STARVIS 2 technology and WDR for impressive night vision. Even in low-light conditions, the road ahead remains clear.

The other three cameras record in 1080P providing complete four-channel coverage. The front and rear interior cameras each have four infrared lights, allowing clear recording inside the car even at night, offering around-the-clock protection. The dual interior cameras complement each other to cover blind spots, ensuring the entire cabin, especially the rear seats, is clearly recorded.

Review Requirements:
  • Complete the review within two weeks after receiving the product, and publish it in a new thread on this forum.
  • The product review should include the following:
    • Dashcam footage from all four cameras, captured during daytime and nighttime.
    • Photos or video showing the installation process of the dashcam.
    • Photos or video showing the installation process of the hardwire kit (optional).
This is an ongoing project, and each month we will offer as many spots as possible to members who wish to try the F17 Plus.

How to apply in the comments:

  • Confirm that you agree to the testing requirements, including the timing and content of the review.
  • Briefly explain your needs or expectations for a 4-channel dashcam.
We welcome applications from anyone interested in testing the F17 Plus, so feel free to apply in the comments. We will respond based on the applications. Wishing you all the best!

UPDATE:

Thank you all so much for your enthusiastic applications!

Since we have a limited number of test products available each month, we may not be able to reply to everyone right away. But don’t worry, we do our best to offer as many testing opportunities as possible every month!

So please feel free to keep applying in the comments. If we don’t reach out to you this month, your chance might come next month!

Thanks again for all your amazing support and excitement — we truly appreciate it!

My new car arrives next week, and I was thinking of putting in a dash camera for it. This timing works out great, if I'm accepted!

I plan to hard wire everything, and I would enjoy doing a write-up of the installation process as well as a review of the product to help out my fellow enthusiasts.

I was once in an accident where had I not had a witness, it would have been impossible to prove who was at fault. Ever since then, I've had a dash cam in my cars.

I agree to the requirements, and promise to have it done within the time frame requested.

My needs and expectations are that the resulting images are clear and useful in a situation such as an accident, where a wide field of view and clarity are adequate.

I would like to participate and agree to the conditions.

I drive most days into metro Detroit and with the traffic on I96 and some of the "drivers" I come across I have thought video evidence might be good to have if something happens on one of these commutes. And having something to cover for any break in would be nice as well when the car is parked.

And it would have been nice to have when someone recently scraped my front bumper and left.

Hi. I’m not joining, but wanted to provide my 2 cents on what I look for in a dash cam as a user who has never driven one since 2012 (since an incident that jacked up my insurance rate for years to come).

4 channel camera sounds good, but to fit all that recording into a single microSD, I’m guessing the bitrate had to be lowered. Sharpness of the image plays a crucial role in capturing the license plates (along with the lens technology and image calibration). A dual processor with dual SD cards in one housing may be the product no one makes, but people who are dash cam veterans may love. Some like myself don’t mind paying premium.

I had thinkware a while ago, one feature that I loved that no one duplicated was the audio status notification when i started the car. When it went from parking mode to driving mode, it would audibly tell me if there were any incidents that triggered the parking mode to save the footage. In brooklyn, that told me if someone has bumped my car or not when i got back into my car after work. Very useful.

4 channel camera sounds nice, again, but it’s very rare someone offers a waterproof side cameras as an option. I want to mimic what Tesla’s have. The side recording Tesla’s do are very good in case of a sideswipe incident. I found a few dash cams that offer the option, but those external cameras are an eyesore and obviously are not something they spent time on developing. My X5 has that kind of dashcam recording option from the factory (uses 360 parking cameras for recording incidents, 30 seconds before and after) but it’s very low resolution, so i still had to supplement it with a proper dash cam.

I agree with your terms and would like to participate.

I have been using Viofo for years and ready for something different in my New vehicle. Currently drive heavy traffic in SoCal where it makes total sense of having a dashcam. Looking to be able to hardwire, monitoring while parked, and a user friendly interface with a potential phone application that allows you to review videos and adjust settings.
