Australian S650 has “FO” designation

I understand only we Australians uses this designation - please correct me if I’m wrong.

Ford dealer ads on Australian car sales today. I’m OS right now, believe only a couple of RHD Ford test cars are currently on Oz roads.

And yet you can't actually specify a convertible with the online Price & Build, just a Fastback.

The convertible option does briefly appear (greyed out) whilst the page is loading, but then becomes invisible.

Obviously not ready for the convertible yet.

Comes out to $64,005 USD. Not bad for a GT convertible shipped from the other side of the planet.

And ours have the additional cost of RHD and compliance with Australian Design Regulations.
Add in a luxury car tax (LCT) which the Eco escapes but adds a couple of thousand to GT prices.

Our GTs are kind of loaded with every option - no base GT in Oz.
Ford Australia know they can sell every car and because of economies of scale offer fewer options.
Only automatic in convertible GTs, no manual etc
