Wind deflectors

Hi folks
On delivery I noted a plastic bag containing underbody wind deflectors. Is there any point installing these if I dont plan on taking the car to the track? Did you folks have them installed predelivery????

Yes, mine were installed pre-delivery. PDI checklist attached which says to fit all loose ship items. Going through the list made me chuckle - clean all windows inside - mine were filthy. And my windscreen wipers were smearing. Changed for Bosch Aerotwin.

They are for increased downforce at high speed. So primarily for track use. They divert the underfloor airflow.

I have left mine off

Runway or not, you might as well put them on, they were designed for it, just like the spoiler and splitter.
