Transport and delivery in Europe

Hi all, seems that my car arrived to Amberes (Antwerpen) from Newark, and then was moved to Koln in Germany... anybody has any idea of the route to Spain and why they moved it to Germany instead send it directly to Spain?
Seems that after a while in Germany will be sent by ship to Valencia. May be in the Ford plant in Koln are they making the adaptation to european market?
Delivery date is scheduled for end of August. Seems a lot of time once it is in Europe...
