This is definitely an oversight on Ford's part as my 2016 Camaro 2SS manual used to have it as a feature on the touchscreen where you can set either the left/right/both mirrors to tilt down when in reverse. The lack of this even on a premium is just silly and can be solved with an OTA update. The mirrors on my GT premium 401a have a memory feature already which means that the car is aware of the mirror position as they are CANBUS based and this feature would just software based and requires no additional hardware. It's great that they do updates for cluster graphics but this would actually be a USEFUL update INSTEAD of just pretty/fancy looking.
They already have the code for the feature pre-written for other Ford/Lincoln models and should be easily adapted. #HEYFORD this should be taken care of for us.

I program button 3 on the seat memory with the mirror angle down. It works great when you pull up to a parking spot just hit the button and back up. Once parked just hit button one and you are good to go.

there is this feature built into the vehicle, complete with Mustang-specific animations. unfortunately, you need to enable it in FORScan, press one of the mirror adjustment buttons for it to work, and i dont think it was made for the US mirror sizes because is also tries to adjust the mirror down more than it can go

I use memory 3 for this as well. Definitely something that could have been easily added to the software.

Yes, I agree it would be nice, but Ford needs to fix all the other little quirks first before they do other updates. They can't even get the clock to stay in 24-hour mode.

agreed. this feature would be 100% useless for me, but i welcome a new gauge cluster them all day long!
