*IF* it comes with all of the options that a fully loaded GT Premium has (big *IF*), I *MIGHT* be convinced to buy the DH instead.

Price increase was expected. The worst part is that it's a Fully Networked Vehicle (FNV), and it costs more. So you have much less freedom with your Mustang, and a higher cost. That's solid pass for me.

It goes both ways though. As fast as Tesla lowers prices they can raise them. Ford has a predictable price structure.

Everything is relative to the market and for 43k a almost 500HP V8 is a hell of a deal.
Exactly. Everything costs more today. These increases were expected and not as bad as they could have been. If you’re not happy go find another 480hp V8 rear wheel drive two door coupe and go buy it.

Was about to post the same article myself. :)

Honestly, I expected the prices to be tad higher. Everything is more money now, even stupid bland crossovers are in the low to mid 40s.

I'm not saying it's cheap. My subjective level of what I find expensive has shifted also, but ~47k for the new GT Premium ain't so bad. That's about a grand more than my Bullitt was in 2020. Though I did see a 2020 at my local Ford dealer at $50k with 15k miles.:facepalm:

Not to mention both chevy and Dodge are leaving his market.

Numbers are fine IMO, the interest rates if you can't pay cash on the other hand...with probably 2 to 3 more hikes coming before these cars get delivered.

Im nervous about people taking away dealer allocations that aren't even going to be able to afford the car by the time it gets to them.
