I have a 24 auto with 2300 miles and I have noticed when I get on the car in normal dive mode it seems like the the rpm’s are getting stuck while my speed is moving car feels weird as the rpm’s are sticking and not moving it is worst when AC is on or when I put the car in sport mode as the rpm’s are sticking with just normal driving. Anyone having any issues like this or is this normal ? I have pypes exhaust H-bomb the issue has been worst since I put this exhaust on.

Are you pulling the shift knob all the way back beyond "D" Drive Mode? Sounds like you have it in "M" Manual and on the S650's, it is different from the S550's as there doesn't seem to be any assist shifting by the ECM (my experience anyway). So, if you did accidentally have it in "M", it wouldn't matter what driving mode you put it in as it probably won't shift and hold 1st gear to High RPM's.

No this is in D mode not in manual mode the rpm do eventually move but it seem to rev and not move right away. Car makes pops a lot too from the exhaust

It is simply because the gears are so closely spaced so the revs only drop maybe 600rpm between shifts. It can feel almost CVT like at times.

Well shoot, it sounds to me like a trip to the Dealer for sure and hopefully you can replicate the issue over a test drive.

It's a torque convertor, it isn't always locked up so will sometimes flare the revs a bit. All normal and my S550 has always done that.

I agree with jboogie1289s possible solution. I have done it a couple of times. It is rather disconcerting. I find the shifter will go into manual mode quite easily. So far, I haven't noticed any ill effects. Glenn
