I have no clue about tires and wheels but i had a earlier post and got some very nice help from it. Im looking at getting these wheels right here but before i buy them im wondering what size tire i can fit on it and if there would be any issues with rubbing or it fitting wrong. I have a 2024 gt no performance pack. I was also wondering if i could fit a 305 on the back because ive heard thats best for traction . (Also is it possible to keep the same diameter???( Not sure if its diameter ) so i dont have to recalibrate the speedometer to get a accurate speed reading)

Tire compound is the only thing that matters for traction.
A 305 (if it’s a nitto G2) will never compare to a 275 nitto R2.

For traction you want Mickey Thompson Et street R or SS.

ive got 285s on my 10s and 315s on my 11s, check the tire manufacturers, they usually list an acceptable rim size for their tires. also for comparing what you have with what you want: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

I have 285/30 up front and 305/30 out back on 20x10 and 20x11 wheels. I’m running Conti Pro Contact DWS06 all around. I’m happy with the setup although I do wish the contact patch on the Contis was slightly wider. Still get great traction. A huge upgrade from the Goodyear’s the car came with.

What's your intended usage for your after market tires; grocery getter/daily driver, drag strip, parking lot rally, track days, etc? Depending on your budget; the former should be your guide on tire choice.

If your GT came with any of the OEM all season tires (mine came with the 265/35/20 Goodyears) then pretty much any of the common after market summer tires will give you better traction. But, if you're planning on dragging your GT or track daying, etc you'll want to be more selective on brand and compound.

My GT is a GG/DD with the occasional bout of vigorous country road usage. I've got SVE R355s on it (at the specs listed in your OP) with Nitto triple 5s; 285/25/19 F and 305/35/19 R.

https://lmr.com/item/WTK-355912GBA/sve-mustang-r355-wheel-nitto-tire-kit-19x10-11-black-2024

They're a huge performance and confidence increase over the OEM Goodyears (based on my driving style/usage).

Would I recommend the Nittos for dragging or track daying? No; as @Q6543 noted above there are better choices out there. I have three friends who rack day regularly, none of them recommended the triple 555s for TDing either.

Good luck getting a tire that works for you! đź‘Ť

Sorry don’t mean to steal your thread…
Does anyone know if a 295/35/19 fit on a SVE SP2, 19x11 without looking like it’s stretched? Specifically on a Conti EC Sport 2 tire?

I have the performance pack with pirelli p zer. 255 275. It gets a bit loose with the traction control off . I basically only drive on street. But maybe an auto cross and drag trip this summer. The ride and noise is nice. But would like to go bigger and stickier. Not sure why they didn’t make rears wider. Like mach1

The Mach 1 came with the same size tires... unless you ordered the handling pack.

I have a 24 GT non PP and I’m running SVE 357 wheels 19x10 (+35mm) up front and 19x11 (+50mm) in the back with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires (285/30/19 up front and 325/30/19 in the back). I also have the Ford Performance Track lowering springs installed on it as well. There is zero tire rub and the setup runs great.

Do you think the springs effect the tires not rubbing? Like do you believe i would need the springs to fit what you have or would i be good.

If you are keeping stock springs you will be fine, lowering springs can increase the likelihood of tire rubbing... he was just saying that his size works even with the lowering springs.

Nope you don’t need springs to fit what I have. If you’re gonna run the stock springs, you will be perfectly fine. I was just saying that mine fits perfect and there is no rubbing, even with the lowering springs, which lower it about an inch. I think I could definitely lower it some more as well with no rubbing but I wouldn’t get any wheel/tire size bigger than what I have. I ordered my wheels off of LMR and ordered my tires from Tire Rack. Would definitely recommend looking at both websites to find a setup you like.
