When I began my 600+ mile trip, the first day I saw a yellow symbol of a car on a road with a ! behind it. Apparantly some safety system. Came on an off a times, but quit doing it after first 150 miles thankfully.

It was the Pre-Collision Assist light. I had the setting on Low too, and no cars close in front or behind. Maybe some debris covered the sensor?

If the sensor is dirty or obstructed, the icon stays on and the display behind the steering wheel will typically give you a message saying as much.
