Bearing in mind the Fusion was supposedly based on a Aston Martin design (as Ford owned AM up to 2007 although retained a stake), having a car based on this is no bad thing!
Oh well, I'm sure you'll have fun with the other sheep. At least you haven't got to worry about using three pedals, just hit the accelerator and go, a child could do it
Ill agree with that. I do often wonder how people can get enjoyment from a £50k boring grey Eurobox, especially ones with a diesel. Yes it may be fast but how often can you show this? Hardly ever, plus they generally sound ridiculous with popping exhausts. Although I can see why you would get...
You could put a 6.5 litre V12 in the XF (or most other saloons) and you would still not get the same buzz/enjoyment as you get from a Mustang. Yes, the second hand market is a different game.
The Mustang has and will always be an affordable car, I'm sure Ford will do their research and ensure...
For £54k (circa 62k euros) I can only get an F type with a 4 cylinder 2 litre engine with only the option being a silly flappy paddle thing. To get anything decent with the F Type you need to be spending £20k more and for that you'd be mad not to get a Porsche Cayman GTS, or similar. Different...
I agree with this and I accept emissions do need to be reduced. Although I understand it to be on fleet average so can have some Fords that are ultra green to accommodate the not so green Mustangs.
How does Corvette get away with its proposals to bring the 6.2l naturally aspirated V8 to the UK in RHD etc?? and yet Ford are concerned with falling short of emission standards on a bog standard Mustang V8, let along the GT350?????
Anyway, if Ford does have to give us a hybrid then fine but...
Good find.
I'm keeping an open mind on the V8 hybrid, might be a nice surprise.
I like the above design, albeit does look a bit like a squashed down Mach E.
It's a muscle car not a sports car! If you want a light car there are plenty of examples out there.
Making a car light will generally be more expensive. Muscle cars are about spending the money on the engine rather than on light exotic materials. Also, in a crash a heavier car will mostly...
