Agreed...the DD drive aspect is just a killer. I just don't get why they decided to make it worse...they should know that the mags/reviews would target it.
The Camaro is a pretty big leap forward in the segment (don't involve design here).
You have a $37k car competing and besting cars in the $50K+ range. I'm a Ford guy but I can admit Chevy did a hell of a job with the engineering on the new Camaro. Sure they have a bigger parts bin but what...
Oh the old ones bar none look better. Even MT called out the looks on the 6G.
In terms of the base SS MT made the point that is the car they'd want over the 2SS...and what I'm saying is a $37.5k SS is competing and surpassing in some aspects cars twice it's value that it would never be put up...
Come on Todd I love ya but your comment is ridiculous.
No Ford didn't respond to MT article within a week...they responded over the last 6 months and seeing the competition that the Camaro is eating their lunch and dinners. Like it or not Chevy delivered in the performance category in spades...
The push up is probably due to competition. MT just posted a h2h of the SS vs the M4 and the SS took it...41K car vs almost 80K car.
I still think the MY'17 is going to bring big changes...tranny, aluminum, hud, exhaust, etc.
So why almost a 2 year push up date? Are they worried that the S550 wont be able to compete with the current cars in terms of weight/MPG/etc?
I mean they had a roadmap and this is a BIG deviation from it.
Makes me wonder if anything else is shifting on the S550 now. What's odd is no mention of...
OK I keep seeing peoples X-plan invoices printed out and Destination of $800+ is in there...when Ford said destination was included in the base price. Any clue whats going on there?
