Maybe when we write a check we should always take 3% off the total and tell whomever we are purchasing something with the check that it is our personal documentation fee. (You know for 5 seconds of writing, hard on the fingers) ;)
Good information. The doc fee is capped at $100 as you say but I would think it is negotiable as it is separate from x-plan. I've never understood why a dealer thinks they need a documentation fee for paperwork, its their job.
I've noticed it depends on the model and if it is premium or not. The higher the base cost the higher the ADV price is. Like they actually have to pay MORE to advertise a higher price/option vehicle.
I believe he is referring to the dealer having so many Mustang "spots" allocated to order. The smaller the dealer the less allocations they have, the larger generally the greater, but not always. It probably depends on how many they have sold in the past to receive their allocation. In other...
