My guess it’s that will have a similar performance than the Mustang GT (let’s say 4 Second 0-60’s and 12 Second 1/4 mile) and similar MPG than the Ecoboost Mustang (how much is the Ecoboost getting?) at a similar price than the GT350 Mustang (around 55k)
BEV as in Battery Electric...
So.. I guess that's what we will be seeing (not complaining though). What matters (for the "money-people") is the short-term.
(I guess Ford will let "Future Ford" worry about the mid and long-term  )
I don't trust a think to Autoblog (I have very good reasons that I'd like to keep to myself, but it was years ago). They are saying that the Mustang Hybrid is COMING in 2020... Does that means that the rumors about the S650 being sent to 2021 Calendar Year are just a lie?
If that's the case the...
Actually AT THIS MOMENT they do.
I’m not an Automotive Designer but in my “Launch experience” I can tell you that being “this close” to the launch (of a completely new model) they already know how it’s going to look.
I would like to be included in that “bet”, not with the “every dime I have”...
Ford quoted there would by a Hybrid Mustang by 2020 (and yes, the assumption was that would be the ‘21MY with the all new model), however the rumors also imply that the next generation was pushed back one year to ‘22MY.
In my opinion they had “obsolete and incomplete” information so I wouldn’t...
Nope, I'm pretty sure they won't offer the Mustang Hybrid during the 6th Gen and since it looks like the S650 will arrive as a 2022MY, we won't see the Hybrid until 2021 Calendar year.
Really? I don't see this happening until the 8th Gen or after....
Yeah... I try to not think about that.

I understood the other way around, that his brother was disappointed because he WANTED the "Smaller Mustang" or something like that but I might be wrong.
Now if you ask me, I think that was Hackett's decision to "Stop that project" (in case that ever happened). In my opinion a smaller 3300lb "SN95 Sized" Mustang using the Coyote engine (with the 480HP "Bullitt Output" that wouldn't surprise me if they use it as the baseline output) would be...
This “timeline” just changed a few months ago (for example VP phase won’t be called like that anymore) since Ford is now using a new “system” (let’s call it like that) however this terms are very accurate.
So... I remember a few months ago that someone in here (was it you TopNotch?) said that...
3400 would still be a 300lb cut over the current Mustang GT which in my opinion I don’t see it very likely and almost impossible) with it’s current size.
Could it be something similar to the SN95 in size?
The SN95 was:
101.3in wheelbase
181.4in length
183.2in length (New Edge)
Let’s imagine a 2022MY Mustang GT (Base) with the SN95 size and curb weight (3,300lb) plus the Mustang Bullitt HP rating (I hope that’s the base engine rating by 2022)...
WTF, Why did Volvo steal the upcoming-stillnotrevealed-nextgen-focus2019 Headlights? . Uhmm... everyday I'm getting more and more disappointed from Ford.
So, going back on topic. Some People is saying that this Hybrid Mustang will be basically a GT with a Mild Hybrid system, however I...
Well... The S197 (2005-2014) was a modified version of the DEW Platform, same platform that debuted with the Lincoln LS during 2019CY and since the S550 is a "heavy modified" S197 Platform (and this one being a modified DEW98 Platform)...... The new S650 will be based on a platform that debuted...
As someone said earlier (I can’t recall who was t or either it was on this forum or not) it looks like the S650 will not be “Cancelled” per se. According to what that guy said the S650 will not be nothing but a “Heavy Modified S550” (like the SN95 was to the Fox4) instead of “clean sheet” and it...
