Can the dipstick heater just sit there with the cord hanging off in the engine bay? I had read about those but not much. I was also wondering about oil pan heaters but then again, I can't really get under my car easily and also wondered if that impacts getting Krown undercoating every year...

New member, 2024 Dark Horse. I will be picking up my car in a couple of days and there is no mention of a block heater on the window sticker and I'm not sure if there is one. I live in New Brunswick, Canada and have to park outside during winter. Is it possible to have a block heater...
