My recall was done and they did not overuse the sealant and made it look neat even though no one will ever see it. Now if the BCM ever becomes a corroded mess I can say well the recall was done so I'm not paying for it š¤·āāļø. Windshield is also fine I was most worried about that.
Ended up waking my car up from winter storage today given the temps are starting to rise because I just couldn't take it anymore I needed to drive it. It started up like if it had started the day before. Now I'm ngl I had been overthinking how it would start given I never stored a car before and...
Iāve been down the rabbit hole on many topics with my car and realize overthinking was unnecessary and there were no issues. Just gotta realize not everything is a problem and enjoy it while I have it
Not sure why it happens but that was my experience and thereās this ford tech on YouTube whoās says the same thing beardedfordtech I believe his name is
The coyote tick always appears after an oil change and slowly goes away as the oil gets more used and when youāre ready to change oil again youāll notice the tick is basically silent. Then it comes back once new oil is introduced. Harmless though
I felt the same way the first time I saw it but I think itās normal. Everything is working right and oil level is correct and another poster said they saw theirs get to 14psi once.
Depends how hot the oil is. If itās like low 200s itās 22-24psi if itās high 200s and Iāve been driving it hard I usually see it hit low as 18psi.
Well my car officially went into power saving mode even with the tender on and solid green. Guess itās unavoidable even with everything working right.
My car will be sitting till spring and I wonāt be doing anything special when starting it in the spring. I am done overthinking about my car as it will just take away my enjoyment. As for the maturity in these threads itās not that deep. You canāt ask a question and not expect different opinions...
My first time putting a car away for winter too so itās nice to have all this info in one space lol. Helps prevent the overthinking I do. The fuse box connection and ground stud make this easy too
The BCM recall for the auto stop start that my car was affected by was done by my dealer and it still does not work LOL. I donāt even care cause I donāt want it anyways and itās off my vin so whatever but they expect me to trust a patch job when they canāt get programming right?
Guess Iāll just try that out instead. Pulling the panel is easy anyways. If I can avoid this whole process when my car is not affected by this thatās the best.
For now my car is away for winter might do it in the spring, might not. However I would want the parts to be readily accessible which wonāt be till earlier next year Iām assuming. Donāt want my car sitting on a dealer lot for a month.
