  1. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

My recall was done and they did not overuse the sealant and made it look neat even though no one will ever see it. Now if the BCM ever becomes a corroded mess I can say well the recall was done so I'm not paying for it šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Windshield is also fine I was most worried about that.

Ended up waking my car up from winter storage today given the temps are starting to rise because I just couldn't take it anymore I needed to drive it. 3. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

If they only inspect I wouldn’t mind bringing it in. Don’t want them to break my windshield if nothing needs to be done.
  4. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

I’ve been down the rabbit hole on many topics with my car and realize overthinking was unnecessary and there were no issues. Just gotta realize not everything is a problem and enjoy it while I have it

Not sure why it happens but that was my experience and there’s this ford tech on YouTube who’s says the same thing beardedfordtech I believe his name is
  6. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

I’ve heard techs talk about how it has to do with oil pressure at idle. It comes from the oil pan area.
  7. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

The coyote tick always appears after an oil change and slowly goes away as the oil gets more used and when you’re ready to change oil again you’ll notice the tick is basically silent. Then it comes back once new oil is introduced. Harmless though
  8. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

I felt the same way the first time I saw it but I think it’s normal. Everything is working right and oil level is correct and another poster said they saw theirs get to 14psi once.
  9. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Depends how hot the oil is. If it’s like low 200s it’s 22-24psi if it’s high 200s and I’ve been driving it hard I usually see it hit low as 18psi.

  11. Trickle charger recommendation for winter storage.

Car still goes into low power mode regardless if it’s on the tender or not. I also use the battery tender plus and it shows solid green.
  12. Battery tender options for storage?

Well my car officially went into power saving mode even with the tender on and solid green. Guess it’s unavoidable even with everything working right.
  13. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

When move to Florida next year it won’t ever have to sit. Unless there’s a hurricane that turns the streets into the ocean 😭
  14. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

My car will be sitting till spring and I won’t be doing anything special when starting it in the spring. I am done overthinking about my car as it will just take away my enjoyment. As for the maturity in these threads it’s not that deep. You can’t ask a question and not expect different opinions...

  16. Battery tender options for storage?

My first time putting a car away for winter too so it’s nice to have all this info in one space lol. Helps prevent the overthinking I do. The fuse box connection and ground stud make this easy too
  17. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

The BCM recall for the auto stop start that my car was affected by was done by my dealer and it still does not work LOL. I don’t even care cause I don’t want it anyways and it’s off my vin so whatever but they expect me to trust a patch job when they can’t get programming right?
  18. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

I’m getting a dash cam hardwired in the spring I think they connect it here so I’ll have them look deeper for me
  19. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

Guess I’ll just try that out instead. Pulling the panel is easy anyways. If I can avoid this whole process when my car is not affected by this that’s the best.
  20. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

For now my car is away for winter might do it in the spring, might not. However I would want the parts to be readily accessible which won’t be till earlier next year I’m assuming. Don’t want my car sitting on a dealer lot for a month.
