This is the issue. I also only see the gear indicator is distances to a turn when I am using a route in navigation. However, it will stop displaying while I am in route. The next time I navigate it may or may not appear.

My navigation only works intermittently on the dash. It appears in CarPlay, but will disappear for no reason from the area just above the gear indicator for the automatic transmission. This occurs on both my wife’s phone and mine and when we are using Apple Maps for Google maps. Any suggestions?
