Anyone know if the button is already pre-wired so that we can just tap into it or would I need to install the required wiring to make it functional, say for some aftermarket ambient lights?

Did you receive yours yet? My dealer is telling me only US customers get the Owners Kits. I was really hoping to get one for my car as well.
