Thanks, I'll look into this brand. I think you're right about my USB cord being the cause. The only time I've had wireless issues was when my phone was plugged into the USB cable and when it would have a connection issue, my wireless connection would connect to Sync 4, but it wouldn't connect...

I bought the highest rated cord I could find that was the color and size I wanted. That's the one I reported problems with earlier, and you told me that a brand name cord solved your problem.

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the USB connectivity to Sync 4? Maybe with Forscan? As I mentioned above, I've had trouble with my phone disconnecting from Apple Car Play, but the phone itself remains connected to Sync when I use a short non-Apple USB cord (8" long, 2.4A, 480...

I feel for you @Dale_K. About 20 years ago, I was sitting in my office one day and suddenly lost half my hearing in one ear, and what remained was so sensitive that I wore an earplug every day for over a year until the sensitivity eventually faded. I hope you can find a solution to your car...

Interesting. I bought a shorty no-name cord that I've been using, I'll try an Apple cord and see if it helps.

An interesting point about the power port. When I first got my car, I started using the USB forward of the gear shift to connect and charge my phone. But then I started having issues with my Apple Car Play disconnecting while I was driving. Normally, I'd have to pull over and turn the car off...

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has found a solution to aftermarket puddle lights. I've seen a few you add to your doors that have to be charged, but I'm looking for something better.
