I've read the power does not go off to that port for almost an hour after the car is shut off. What is your experience? I'd hate to end up with a drained battery.

Some detectors offer fuse box power and others have obd2 adapters. Fuse box seems better. Any different opinions? Don't have a detector in my 25 and have started looking at options.

I have the 25 with no charging so I'm trying to replicate the functionality. And I also want a place to put the phone out of the way of the buttons. You do you and I'll do me.

The system I am referring to was in a 2013 Explorer Limited. Was miles better than what I've heard from the B&O systems. Not sure if it was modded but it looked stock to me. Admittedly a small sample size, but it's my opinion.
