    i can’t get my ring to go back on because of those stupid tabs broke when I took it off! it appears from what I can tell that Fird does not sell the ring by itself, only the whole damn sub unit at around $750! Not happy. im thinking of using some small Strips of Velcro to hold it in place ☹️

    Since the screws dont line up, did you just use self tapping screws? and at the end of your video, the trim piece is not sitting flush on the box. is that because of the self tapping screws and it not being able to sit back down properly?
