After looking at powder coating, price and my daily driver would be tied up for 3 days; cost and my time made my decision easier.
I went with dealer installed Ford bronze rims.
Thanks for the comments.
Iāll have my car tied up for 2- 2 1/2 days, remove- dismount- powder coat- balance / remount and road test . Iām sure if I just brought the rims it would be cheaper.
Leave as is- paint - powder coat - new rims ???
Guys,
I appreciate yāallās input. In my 50 plus years of hot rodding & modding Iāve never had anything powder coated. It seems like those of yāall who have were satisfied with the results.
Thanks again.
I appreciate the option. I just got a chuckle out of āwinter setā; thatās not a normal term used in SE LA.
The weather man said that this week there may be a chance of snow. 1 inch of snow shuts down the world around here.
Shadow black pony with āpremiumā stock silver wheels.
I like the style but not the color.
Iām considering getting the stock wheels powder coated gloss black..
I found a shop that will remove the wheels, powder coat , balance and reinstall on the pony for $800.
