Mine works perfectly on the passenger side but not at all on the drivers door. Am I reading correctly that there is nothing that the service department can do to fix this issue?

My handle locking does not work at all. Not when I put my hand in the handle nor when I touch the lock symbol. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this an issue that the dealer is going to have to fix?
