With my experience working in dealer land, they shouldn't hold all vehicles. As there is no safety requirement's to complete on vehicle outside of the effected vin/build range at this time. Pd, fit accessories, detail and hand over.

does the vehicle have the recall open for your vin!? shitty if it doesn’t. Honda atm have a similar issue with a recall, but if the vehicle extends outside of the vin range, give the customer there car.

My experiences with loud cars has been positive. Previous vehicle was an abarth 124 that was basically straight piped. No mufflers and 100 cell cat. Stupid loud! Drove it like that for 7 years, passed rego and cops gave me zero issues. I do live in a regional town though.
