Nah it was pretty straightforward. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. Take it slow and steady when removing the screws so you don't drop them down inside of the trunk cavity.
Other than making the modification to the valance there's nothing else you have to do. I have a '24 GT and I made no other modifications other than going to quad tips with the valance.
No problem, glad I could be of help. After reading and watching countless reviews the Continental and Michelin are just about neck and neck in performance. The DWS has a 275/35 for the front but no 305/35 for the rear, that's why I went for the 315/35. It's only a very slight width difference...
The 275s sit nice and flush in the front fender wells. And the 305s are flush as well, but the 315s are just a bit more than flush. Not by much though, you really have to look hard imo. Not much of rake that I can see, looks just about level to me. I do plan on lowering it here soon though.
It's close, but to me my summer setup is a lil bit better in terms of grip. Both perform well in wet conditions. Imo both the Continental and Michelin are great can't go wrong with either. I chose the Continental because they're slightly less in price.
The wheels/tires in the pic are my summer setup. They are 20x9.5-275/35/20 and 20x10.5-305/35/20 with Continental ExtremeContact Sport. I have a winter setup which are 20x10-275/35/20 and 20x11-315/35/20 with Continental DSW06. Low speeds the speedometer is fine but highway speeds it's about 3-4...
