I know on my wifeās Tesla when I went to 255s instead of the standard 235s I had to make sure they are summer and not all seasons, all seasons would have rubbed. (Continentals)
Iām at 1.8 camber on both sides and donāt hit metal with 275 Nittos
Seems to be a common issue with these springs and tire setup, I removed the fastener already and will be trying to push the rest in a bit this weekend. Lets see if a heat gun will help me mold it in w/o messing the fender up. It only hits at speeds when I get a road dip, its a slight rub...
20x10 with 275s.
Was getting a slight rub on both sides where a plastic fastener holds the inner lining. It would only happen at speed if I hit a long dip in the road. I removed the fastener and it got better but I still have to see if I can push that plastic in a bit.
I have Steeda Progressives on mine and the ride quality is great but I feel as if it lowered just a bit too much up front. I had Ultralites on my S550 and it was a perfect drop.
95% heavy South Florida traffic (Miami) with lots of idling and I'm at 12.6 right now. I did do one 5 hr drive to North Tampa and was around 24-26mpg averaging 85mph but that quickly dropped once I returned to my regular routine.
Fronts are 275/35/20 on 20x10 wheels. No rubbing thankfully, it did drop it a bit more than I anticipated. These are Steeda Progressives, non magnaride.
Thanks,
Carlos C.
