  1. CTS-V to Mustang GT

My dealer is telling me 5-9 months. You all hearing the same?
  2. CTS-V to Mustang GT

Thanks all for feedback. After consideration I’m going against my simple systems ethos and throwing all the the ford factory has to offer at my GT. Will see how it goes and mod if needed. I expect maybe a different type of fun/satisfaction from my CTS-V, but fun nonetheless. Final order: GT...
  3. CTS-V to Mustang GT

I cross shopped blackwings, M2, and 718 Cayman. Kept coming back to the mustang's n/a v8. And that sound. To me perfect. Once I learned I could go grabber blue with a black roof straight from the factory.....sold. Remain hopeful that a GT Premium with Performance Package gets me many of the...
  4. CTS-V to Mustang GT

This is a pretty good breakdown of my current ride. For contrast and comparisons sake: https://www.supercars.net/blog/2004-cadillac-cts-v/
  5. CTS-V to Mustang GT

Thanks agreywolfe. That is what I wanted to confirm: PP will have improved handling. Passive will still sound like a Mustang. Skipping magna and active will limit comfort and adjustability but keep things simple. Good on Ford for still producing a manual n/a v8.
  6. CTS-V to Mustang GT

Thanks for responses. Much appreciated. The goal is nice handling, good exhaust note, and simple systems when and where possible. It will be a dd, but I still like a tight ride with limited float and flat in the corners. Variability is low on my priority list. I debated the PP, Magnaride...
  7. CTS-V to Mustang GT

    Yes. I ordered manual transmission.
  8. CTS-V to Mustang GT

Hi all- I bought a new CTS-V manual transmission in 2004. For 19 years and 120k miles it has served as my daily driver. It’s been nothing but oil changes and tire swaps (and I like it’s driving dynamics), so I just kept on going. But it’s time. Last week I ordered a 2024 Mustang GT. Would...
  9. GT Active Valve Exhaust Worth Optioning?

Will the tone and volume of the factory standard duel tip passive exhaust be comparable to the “Normal” setting with the factory quad tip active exhaust?
