I would be very happy with that deal considering it's a 2024 DH. It looks like that is about 65-66k usd. I paid 60k usd before taxes for my 2022 GT non premium with PP and 301a package. It was 53k msrp plus 7k markup because I wanted it off the lot. Getting a DH at that price sounds amazing to...
The s550 is a great performance priced car. My first performance/muscle car was a 1995 Z28 Camaro that I paid around 25k for new in 1995. That is worth around 46k in today's prices. Dealer markups are a whole different issue. I would have loved to get my GT for around 50k. I would have felt...
I think the hp increase is pretty good. I don't think it is a let down. Pretty much the same difference as buying a current GT vs Mach 1. 20 more hp. I drove a Mach 1 while car shopping. Honestly I couldn't tell the power difference over the GT. I still liked the Mach 1 styling more though...
I was looking for about 3 months.. I originally wanted a black Mach 1 auto. Every time I saw one advertised it was sold before I could go look at it. I am not used to cars selling that fast. I went to buy a Mach 1 that was listed online but settled for the GT because it was gone already. I was...
Haha. The protection package was a way to try to justify the markup. Not sure what it is really worth. It was protection for the seats tearing, fading, rim warranty, and paint warranty. It was either take it or don’t buy the car. I only wanted a black GT with performance package so I gave in.
It was right off the lot. I would not have paid that price for a factory order. I was tired of looking at limited inventory on lots in September and I didn’t want to wait for a factory order.
Those are all the options besides active exhaust. It has the 301a package. Msrp was 52,685 on the sticker but the dealer market adjustment was 7k which included a protection package for 3k for the seats and paint etc. The rest is the market adjustment added in. The original markup on the window...
Wow. 85k for a fully optioned dark horse. Even 75K is too much. I thought I overpaid for my 2022 GT non premium at 60k with cloth seats and no digital dash, no magneride. At that price I am getting a used ZL1. There are 2020 ZL1's for 65-68K. I probably should have done that instead of my 2022...
I hear this. I looked at a new 2022 ZL1 for 73k while Mustang shopping. I prefer the look of the Mustang to the Camaro though. Test drove one Mach 1 that had a dealer markup of 12k onto the 64k msrp. Said nope. I can get a new ZL1 for that price.
I got 301A, active exhaust, and an automatic. The performance pack was my must have. I didn’t get magneride as I couldn’t find it on a dealer lot in the color I wanted. I realized in order to get exactly what I wanted I would have to build to order. Your price quote sounds pretty good.
Yeah I can easily see a 2023 Mustang V8 selling for 65-70k if the current new car prices stay. I just bought a 22 Mustang GT with performance pack for 59k before taxes. I didn’t even get leather seats, digital dash. In this market who knows. Mach 1s around me are 70k.
A year ago I priced a 2021...
