Glad they aren't hideous like the Mach E but it is a step down. Although far better than the 1994 - 1998 tails, don't know what Ford was thinking there.
In my experience haptics are usually terribly annoying. I agree it's to early to judge but I can definitely understand the annoyance when toggle switches or larger buttons and dials are more comfy and easier to reach when in motion.
I don't know, in Europe it's very much an enthousiasts car. I imagine the US is seeing a similar trend towards SUVs and EVs and thus making a rwd sports car more of an enthousiasts car than before. Even more so if prices go up as well.
Whilst the Mustang has pretty much always been accessible...
Good thing nobody here said that. Eric said No Mustang owner NEEDS a massive tablet and I fully agree. It should be about driving experience and I personally find large tablets distracts from that.
Yep, it's a very boring and generic design that doesn't fit the Mustang or any sports car with heritage. If they wanted a rectangular screen, fine, but you can incorporate it with the typical brow. And yes, where are the damn switches, putting everything on a screen is dangerous and annoying.
No need to be rude, it's not a competition. It's great Ford is still offering a V8 manual but it's definitely a controversial design, both interior and exterior.
If anything, the Mach E shows that Ford isn't really focused on pleasing the fans and is more looking to attract new customers, AKA...
The exterior will grow on me, but the interior is just so generic 20's, like they copied it straight from Kia or Mercedes. Really wish they'd kept the cool digital gauge cluster from the 2018+ and kept more buttons and switches for climate control and such.
Overall I don't think it's either...
Yeah, the renders were really spot on. The interior is honestly the biggest down side for me. I like the exterior except for the tribar headlights. Engine upgrades, especially the Dark Horse is really cool. Also hoping they addressed the Getrag issues.
Overall like it as a refresh but wishing...
Agreed, honestly I'm worried about the prices going up which might make this generation unaffordable in Europe. I believe the 2015 GT was sub 50k in Europe new? I have a bad feeling this new generation will costs us over 60k for GT which is IMO too much.
I'll pass, rather upgrade to a Mach one. The interior is very boring standard luxury car, reminds me of the EV6. Exterior is just futuristic S550, the tail is probably one of the ugliest yet.
Love the new colors, key fob rev and engine upgrades though.
