So that was the one part I was unsure of, I was thinking of ordering the standard exhaust and getting the aftermarket with valves but wasn't sure if it could work that way since the car didn't come with it.
I went with the AE exhaust. I ordered the mustang 2 weeks ago, so I'm patiently waiting at this point. Performance wise, I plan to do headers and either the upgraded Whipple SC kit or the Ford performance (Whipple) kit. I will start with that and see where it goes.
I'm going to order the AE when I place my order Monday. My rationale when asking was, take the 1200 and just put that towards the new exhaust immediately. I did love the AE on my Bullitt so it makes sense to get it on this one.
I avoid dealership at all cost. I'm willing to repair things on my dime if I can because of things like this. I'm sorry you have to deal with this, it is unacceptable and unprofessional. It doesn't matter if it's a 20k or 70k car, it's your car and money and should be respected.
Yeah, I have added it to the order. One last decision is if the upgraded sound system is worth the price of adding Ford CoPilot for 1095. I will never use the CoPilot options just might want the upgraded sound.
Ordering a new 2024 GT and debating between ordering the Active Valve Perfromance Exhaust or just installing aftermarket after it arrives. Just curious what the groups thoughts are on it. Thanks in advance.
