I have a motorcycle and I agree that a car cant really compare... one quick twist of the wrist and your at 100 mph. I am starting to appreciate the steel cage around me though with other drivers on the road. I personally know too many hurt due to careless drivers hitting a motorcycle

Unfortunately, this is why mustangs are so popular at car shows and known for hitting crowds. Controlling fast cars is not easy unless you have some experience and driving competency.

I agree thats why on the street it would be stupid fun. Instant tq to throw your body into the seat at takeoff. Torque is more important to get car out of hole then HP takes over to get you to finish line.

but if they are gas powered? Just following the logic. I would love to play around on the street in a car with >600 tq at the crack of the throttle without having to build RPMs.

There are gas powered golf carts-- are these cars?

What are you missing? Honestly for me the feeling cars give you when you smash the gas is what draws me personally to cars.
