I’ve had three gt350s. One with the comfort seats and two with recaros. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the comfort seats (heated/coollng) especially on long trips and I like the recaros. They don’t have lumbar support and aren’t comfortable on trips more than 3 or more hours but keep you locked in...
I have a Honda Accord as a daily and the gt350 comes out on the weekends so it’s a great change of pace. Makes working a long week rewarding waking up on Saturday morning to bang gears!
I really like the technology that the Dark Horse has like the screens. The gt350 is old school but the voodoo engine is pretty cool. I have to make sure I keep buying the Ford ESP powertrain warranty because the voodoo engine is $25K and I’d hate to be out of warranty if the engine blows.
The Fire dealership here in New Mexico had a Darkhorse without the handling package for $57,609 in vapor blue. They dropped the price from MSRP of $64,515. I almost pulled the trigger and traded in my gt350 but decided to hold off for now.
What I worry about is the extended warranty expires in March 2025 and I’m hoping I can possibly extend it another couple years but this 2017 Gt350 is getting older each year and I’m not sure I can get another Ford ESP warranty.
We’re both in the same boat. I have a gt350 plus bought a Honda accord new last year and going to sell the gt350 this summer to clear some debt. The Accord is a 4 cylinder and gas and insurance are both cheap. The gt350 is a great weekend car that I drive maybe 4 times a month. Good luck with...
I was in the same dilemma. I was about to trade my gt350 in for a Dark Horse two weeks ago. I think I’ll wait a year to see what the reviews are from car buyers. In the meantime I’m now thinking of buying a 2020-2022 GT500 instead.
