Dealers can track order status as soon as they enter the order, but those of us outside the Ford system cannot before a VIN is issued. On the bright side, your dealer should be able to give you the VIN within a few weeks of ordering.
I don't know. I've seen a a replacement order (where something happened to the original order) get assigned a high enough priority to beat the original order date, but I don't recall ever seeing a priority get changed after the fact. Doesn't mean it can't, just that I haven't seen it on the forum.
Priority codes can be set within a certain range by a dealer when an order is placed. Lower ranges can be set by Ford regional managers at a dealer's request.

At a guess, your original Estimated Date of Delivery was a day or so ago, and it passed without the car getting delivered. The tracker doesn't handle that situation well. If that is the case, now the fun starts, as the tracker will now start to count up by one every day.
