I do not think anyone would dispute a “mustang forum” being upset, reluctant , or resistant to change from a gas v8 to electric. lol. I’m not saying I like it, but guess what? Your future mustang will be electric! Fact.
The point is electric is coming and 1000 hp with 500 plus mile ranges in luxury cars (not performance coupes) is not to shabby. That Lucid only takes 20 minute charge for 300 miles. Straight line on the street those will kill any new internal combustion setup on the market. Trivial or not....
Considering a couple manufacturers Tesla and Lucid are already coming out with 1000 plus hp/tq all electric awd luxury sedans that run sub 10 second quarters w/ 500 mile ranges Ford better getty up a tad.

Awd makes sense on the street. It will depend on the total combined power and actual size of the v8 imo. No 4.0 liters please... But, a corn fed gen3 307ci coyote w/ a10 that will wag it tail threw the first 3-4 gears sure has been fun.
