Finally!!! Congrats. I sure do love Magnetic Gray. Such a nice color.
  2. Automatic COTUS Checker

I forgot your dealer is in Vegas. I bet. I was pretty excited myself when I was heading to the dealership to pick mine up. It's a relief when you don't have to check Cotus anymore
  3. Automatic COTUS Checker

It should be in Vegas now. I'm curious if yours gets put on a truck in Vegas or it stays on the train until California. There is a big rail yard in Colton, CA. Not sure if Union Pacific offloads cars there or not.
  4. Automatic COTUS Checker

That is pretty ridiculous. I thought I had it bad with my car waiting at the rail yard a week before it was delivered to the dealership.
  5. Automatic COTUS Checker

That's weird. I thought all cars going to Southern California go through Las Vegas via train. There is a huge Union Pacific rail yard there.
  6. Automatic COTUS Checker

Wow, that's a nice jump in your EDD. Hopefully it stays that way.
  7. Automatic COTUS Checker

Right now, I'm just going to do small stuff. I got the more heavy duty Mustang mats from a Ford dealership on eBay. I changed the side marker lights to the LED ones from Diode Dynamics. I am going to change out the rest of the interior bulbs to LED soon. I'm taking off the chrome 5.0 badge and...
  8. Automatic COTUS Checker

I was actually considering a Focus RS before I pulled the trigger on a Mustang. I test drove one about a year ago and loved it, but the price is what held me back. None of the dealerships in my area would sell one without the ADM. Paying a few thousand more for a GT over the RS is pretty much a...

I found the old cotus checker e-mails. After mine was built, it went to in transit on 3/31. On 4/2, it went to awaiting shipment. On 4/3, it went back to in transit. My car arrived at the rail yard on 4/10 I believe. It sat there for a week before it was delivered to the dealership on 4/17.
  10. Automatic COTUS Checker

I don't think it hurts if you do a few redlines while breaking it in. I've done quite a few but I'm going to try and do some less spirited driving the next 400 miles or so. I'm already at 100 since picking it up yesterday.
  11. Automatic COTUS Checker

Mine did that after it was built. It went to in transit for a day or so then back to awaiting shipment.
  12. Automatic COTUS Checker

I would worry about the repaint job looking like shit as well. Hopefully buffing it will get rid of it or at least make it not as noticeable. The spacing on my trunk lid is slightly off as well. Everything else looks pretty good. I'm loving this car. I'm coming from a Focus ST so the pull in...
  13. Automatic COTUS Checker

lol, not right when I left but I did after stopping at the first light. I'm trying not to drive like a maniac all the time, but it's hard not too in the Mustang. So glad I got the active valve exhaust. Sounds pretty good for a stock car. How did the front end turn out after it was fixed?
  14. Automatic COTUS Checker

Thanks. Took me a while to narrow it down to white, but I'm pretty happy with the color choice.
  15. Automatic COTUS Checker

I picked up my car from the dealership yesterday. I'm loving it so far.
  16. Automatic COTUS Checker

Finally! I will be picking it up on Thursday.
  17. Automatic COTUS Checker

It is pretty hard. I'm past the EDD from FP and Cotus says 1 day left for delivery. You don't want to know how often I'm checking Cotus now
  18. Automatic COTUS Checker

Nice! I think the worst part of waiting is after your car is built and in transit.
  19. Automatic COTUS Checker

Hopefully your dealership marking your car will speed up the process. It makes you wonder if it's still sitting in a rail car. Milpitas is a pretty huge rail yard. My guess is there are a ton of car carriers waiting to be unloaded. Check out this satellite photo of the parking lot for all the...
  20. Automatic COTUS Checker

That's interesting. It probably can take a while for the railroad to unload rail cars, especially if it's a big rail yard.
