  1. Brake Kit Upgrades

The OEM PP brakes are not priced too bad and might even be cheaper than some of the big brake kits. A front caliper is just over $300 new if you shop around.
  2. Performance package is it worth it

IMO, I have had both non PP Mustangs and PP Mustangs and it is night and day even for daily driving. Where there this difference is something you want in a daily driver is also up too you. Is it worth it is up to you and your financial situation.
  3. Service/Repair Manual?

I got the Factory-Manuals.com service manual via PDF and it is exactly what the dealerships use. It was $130 and took around 48hours to get. It is over 12000 pages. Looks to be only for my vehicle as it is based off my VIN, which is not a problem for me. Meaning there are links that are only...
  4. GT Break in Procedure

Keyword "Recommend". It those with the experience and commonsense that understand how they should "break in" a new vehicle. You can do what you want to, but to argue the fact just because it is copy and pasted in a manual doesn't mean it is "Required"! IMO there is nothing wrong with you...
  5. Installing K&N Intake Filters?

NO, I would say "commonsense" should play a part in that, especially if people know there is a potential of MAF fouling/damage from over oiling.
  6. GT Break in Procedure

Not needed. Vehicles have even been delivered to tracks for events and ran hard. If the "Break-in" Procedures were so important and needed they would have been done before a customer gets the vehicle and/or noone would be allowed test drives.
  7. Installing K&N Intake Filters?

Not very hard to properly oil air filters. I have never had a problem. If they cause problems it is user caused 100%.
  8. Rear View Mirror - Adjustment

There is no telescopic arm that will magically give you a little adjustment. It is a ball and socket, you will not get anymore room man handling the mirror....LOL If you have pushed it up to where it touches the housing you are not getting it to move anymore.
  9. Service/Repair Manual?

I went ahead and ordered from Factory-Manuals.com, if it is available as they claim I will let everyone know how it is. I found digital is just more convenient than a paper manuals. Can zoom, easier to search and if you don't have an ipad/tablet/latop for the garage you can just print the...
  10. GT Break in Procedure

Your commonsense indicator will go "ding"!
  11. Rear View Mirror - Adjustment

There is no way that will work as the mount is in the middle of the mirror. If it was offset then it would be a good solution or if the contact was more toward the edge of the mirror.
  12. Service/Repair Manual?

I haven't seen one that uses a USB drive. Most of the ones I seen are PDF file you download. Helm, Inc is almost 3times more too. I have only seen Factory-Manuals.com offer a 24 Mustang Service Manual but have not used them before.
  13. Service/Repair Manual?

Anyone have a good source for a 2024 Service/Repair Manual. I'm looking to purchase one and want to make sure I get the most complete one I can get.
  14. GT Break in Procedure

You should drive it off the lot the same way you plan on driving it any other time. There are lots of people that take their new car out on long trips after purchase even some that buy in other states. I have drove cars straight to the dyno and/or track from the dealership. What ArthurJGuy...
  15. Dark Horse poorly received??

I could have had a DH at MSRP but I didn't see a reason for the price over the GT. IMO it is not special, Id would have taken a Mach1 over a DH. I don't like the front or the badges of the DH. I would say the only advantage the DH has over the GT is the manual trans.
  16. Rear View Mirror - Adjustment

No, it doesn't! The mirror is physically being stopped by the housing of the camera/sensors. I have tried turning it 180, this doesn't work because the attachment is in the center of the mirror. You will not get anymore adjustment out of it. You would need a longer arm that attaches the mirror...
  17. 4/6 months Mustang at the dealership workshop facing issues

Not the case with a Lemon Law Lawyer. They very rarely will take a case they won't win as stated. The guidelines are laid out and he has a really strong case. The dealership is not going to get any compensation for him, as of now they are not even doing a straight up swap. Even if they did a...
  18. 4/6 months Mustang at the dealership workshop facing issues

You would definitely have been better going the route of a Lemon Law Lawyer than taking this up with the GM. I didn't want to call the others bad advice but in the real world the dealership is not always going to have your best interest. You state your car has been at the dealership for 4-6...
  19. 4/6 months Mustang at the dealership workshop facing issues

I would say again going to another dealer is not the best advice. Even if you want to keep the car. Calling Ford Service is also a waste of time and a run around to get this sorted. Usually when dealership run into problems they cannot trouble shoot they notify the manufacturer and get one...
  20. 4/6 months Mustang at the dealership workshop facing issues

Asking the dealership to contact Ford really depends on your relationship with the dealership. If you have a good relations ship with them that might be the route to go for you. If not then contact a Lemon Law Lawyer and HAVE all of your paperwork ready. A Lemon Law Lawyer will talk to Ford...
