If I would have known that I would create that gap, I wouldn’t have worried about the side markers because it’s driving me nuts. The hole on the bumper tab isn’t exact and there’s some play in it so I’ll have to readjust the bolt to get the bumper more flush.
I just installed mine today and backing out those screws were a little troublesome but for me it was getting the ratchet positioned correctly between the fender well. It was a tight squeeze and took some time backing them out.
The problem I had was putting the bolt back in and getting the...
Thanks, I appreciate it! And it’s a 35 sidewall. I went 275 in the front and 305 in the back. I’m still contemplating if I want to lower it or not.
They're 20s and I know that feeling of being so close to the finish line but having to wait to cross it. The good news is if it’s delivered, the PDI should be done by tomorrow and you can hopefully take delivery.
I say go with the satin. Like smurfslayer said, these shed some brake dust plus I think it’ll look better too.
I picked up a set of satin black Velgen Classic5 and getting them thrown on tomorrow. I’ll post a pic then to give you an idea.
I’ve used 303s interior cleaner in the past and it’s a good product that’ll give you the matte appearance you want. However, it’s dated compared to the competition and there are better products out there that not only clean but provide UV protection and repel dust. The only 303 I still use is...
If you want something for light maintenance that you can do a quick detail with and still have a matte look, a rinsesless wash like ONR, DIY, or McKees will do the trick as well. You will have to dilute the mixture yourself but it will last you a good while.
One product doesn’t always do it all...
1.2 GPM is not too low for auto detailing. Is the Active 2.0 better? No doubt about it but the Ryobi will get the job done and not break the bank. Mine lasted for years.
The OP wanted to stay low cost, those were some of my suggestions that are relatively budget friendly. A swivel gun is nice...
Like 5.0 ALM said, it’s a rabbit hole. In my experience, you’ll need to upgrade the wand and hose first thing. The ones that come with the pressure washer are terrible. This would be an idea for a cheaper set up but still have some quality to start with:
Pressure washer gun SG28-$35
Pressure...
I used to be in south east Texas, now I’m towards the Carolina coast. There’s a big lot on the other side of Houston too where lots of orders come in. But I believe mine goes by rail to Virginia and then shipped by truck the rest of the way down. The logistics make no sense as there have been...
I figured it would be about useless. It’s giving me a two week window of 11/26-12/9. I called up to the dealership and talked to the sales manager who told me he wasn’t able to track the car. That didn’t sound right to me but he did give me a shorter window of 11/29-12/5
I know the tracker hasn’t been the most reliable but what’s been the wait time for y’all recently from shipped to delivered? Has the ETA tracker been fairly accurate as of late compared to the initial launch?
Just noticed that my tracker updated to built. Ford chat originally told me two weeks ago it should be delivered the first of November but is now telling me I have an eta of 11/16 to 11/22. Did I read somewhere that the tracker is behind and that the built status typically means it shipped?
I’m in the same boat. Mines been built since 10/10 and is still sitting at the plant. My dealership contacted the regional rep yesterday who said there’s no ETA. So I’m gonna have to keep waiting till who knows when.
