  1. Should There Be a Trim Level Between GT and DH?

Most of the mentioned trims really are the same cars. Only difference is maybe a plate on the dash and or some stripes… GT, 50, 55, Black and Blue edition, CS Special are really nothing special at all. Literally the same car, slightly different spec that’s it. Nothing fancy that would require...
  2. Tacked-on Infotainment Screens Trend

There is a difference in withstanding the elements in terms of absolute basic requirements (like withstanding sunlight and average temperatures) or withstanding the elements in terms of way above average requirements that are needed for space flights… Anyhow, you googled the advantaged and...
  3. Tacked-on Infotainment Screens Trend

Call it whatever you want but its integration into the dash looks cheap. Maybe the bezel is as large as it is in other cars (I still doubt that) but due to its surrounding/frame it looks outdated and cheap. Besides, Bezels don't have to be larger than on any modern screen. We're talking about a...
  4. Tacked-on Infotainment Screens Trend

Well, the new screens with their big ass bezel do look like they are from some cheap chinease retailer. And they look cheap because they are cheap. The iPad 1 was released in 2010 and it doesn't have larger bezel... Apart from Teslas complete lack of a dashboard this is probably the cheapest way...
  5. Exclusive MY24 colours?

It's 2023, Ford is charging $70K+ for a Mustang and jet we can only have a handful of colors because of Fords shitty marketing and their old fashioned paint shops... Pathetic. Their first marketing sentence is literally advertising the S650 as “Featuring many expressive design configurations”…...
  6. DH over GT worth it?

First of all it's your car, do with it as you please and don't hold back just because some random dude on the internet tells you something (me or anyone else) ;) Second: just because you add some stripes or a splitter/wing doesn't make it a DH... Adding stripes that literally say "Dark Horse"...
  7. DH over GT worth it?

Since the DH isn't much more 'prestegious' than a regular Mustang I would save that money. It is literally a GT with a minor tune... Same as the Mach 1 or the Bullitt but without the 'heritage'... The GT350 was a different deal and I am annoyed by people tuning their regular GTs so that it...
  8. Anyone going from an EV to a '24 Mustang?

Going from a very fast family car, which doesn't cost much to maintain to a much slower gas guzzler, which is also much more expensive to maintain (on average) is something you don't see everyday :D There's only so much 'fun' one can get from driving electric cars so I assume you did your fair...
  9. S650 incl. Dark Horse will arrive in Europe late 2023 + First pics of Euro model

You can configure them but the order won't go through. As far as I remember it was somewhere around autumn of last year that a brand new Mustang could be ordered by a German dealer. Usually delivery takes around six months for us, twice as much as if I would order and import one by myself...
  10. 2024 Mustang GT & EcoBoost MPG Fuel Economy Numbers (from Canada)

https://brandonford.com/blog/2021-ford-mustang-lineup-gas-mileage-ratings I got my numbers from there... Anyhow, I would expect roughly the same numbers that the Mach 1 had.
  11. 2024 Mustang GT & EcoBoost MPG Fuel Economy Numbers (from Canada)

Can someone translate these numbers for the rest of the world - meaning the metric system? :D Besides, those numbers look somewhat bad... According to BrandonFord dealer the S550 did 16 and 25 and the 5.2 Predator engine did 14 and 21... Seems like a decend downgrade from the old numbers...
  12. Flat Rock plant down due to quality issues

https://eu.freep.com/story/money/cars/ford/2023/05/06/2024-ford-mustang-quality-review-uaw-layoffs-flat-rock/70188595007/ According to the Detroit Press FR is down due to quality issues that FORD wants to solve before going into production. Next to V8 valve covers and electronics they're also...
  13. The new dashboard is a big mistake IMO

To each their own... To me it looks awful. What is this ugly a$$ thing between the two screens? It may or may not serve a certain purpose but that overall design is nothing I would consider at all. Then again I think Asian design language is always... special... to be polite... I do however...
  14. 0 to 60 and other performance numbers

Still concerned on why Ford has not presented anything at all... 500hp is a number... 486 another but real world performance might be very close to "old" 18+ version... I wouldn't expect anything but minor improvements.
  15. Mustang Panel Alignment Problems

No, he's just right. Why bring up a completely different topic when nobody asked for it? Maybe you open another threat for it because I don't think this is the right place for it - regardless of anyone’s believes. Here we discuss panel alignment in the Mustang and why it might be an ongoing concern.
  16. 0 to 60 and other performance numbers

Those are realistic numbers... At least for all non US Mustangs. Do you have a convertible? 4.6 is a common number for the coupe, +0.2 or 0.3 for the convertible is reasonable.
  17. The Dashcam thread

Thank you very much. My current car has a front camera that can record already but I would consider the Vortex if my car wouldn't have that feature. It's unfortunately a must have in 2023...
  18. 0 to 60 and other performance numbers

0-60mph is 0.1 or 0.2 faster than 0-100 km/h. Since we haven't heard from any meaningful improvements I would expect the car to deliver a solid 4.2 or 4.1 0-100 km/h. Traction is what makes many other cars so much faster and a rwd car only has so many of it...
  19. Mustang Panel Alignment Problems

Why can't you just accept that panel alignment is a known issue... German cars, produced in Germany hardly ever have these panel alignment issues. As far as I can tell American build quality is in general not top notch. Some more expensive brands may have better QC but on average American...
