Was about to post the same article myself. :)
Honestly, I expected the prices to be tad higher. Everything is more money now, even stupid bland crossovers are in the low to mid 40s.
I'm not saying it's cheap. My subjective level of what I find expensive has shifted also, but ~47k for the new...
I am not sure I'm understanding you right - are you saying Ford confirming Android Automotive for 2022 models? For example 2022 Mustang has SYNC 3, which isn't even highest SYNC and F150 the same, they aren't running Android Automotive AFAIK, that's coming for future Fords.
Yes as others said...
I am of the "steel pan" camp, obviously, as most people probably would be.
Unfortunately, my Bullitt has composite one.
We also have a 2017 F150 we bought used and that stupid composite pan is there on the 3.5 Ecoboost (I think all have them). I know this isn't an F150 forum, but def was a dumb...
I'm still not 100% sure how I'm feeling about it. Keep looking up the pictures and coming back with a different opinion each time.
There is a LOT of Camaro vibe as some people have mentioned.
Interior looks decent, lot more modern than classic compared to S550.
It is a decent evolution. But I...
Sounds pretty similar to S550 with AE, by which I mean great.
That animation looks like a digital cluster animation a bit, doesn't it? Especially that black portion on the bottom seems to be for the steering wheel column or eye sensors.
Holy buckets, they must have edited the heck out of that picture with the Mustang with its DRLs on... They are nowhere that bright, sadly, unless they changed it? I hate how that's the dimmest DRLs on all Fords out on the road. :(
Not really that surprising here...
I've recently finally got my hands on Motorola's A1 wireless, a good AA dongle, works well. Battery drain not too bad, just phone call audio quality isn't great on the other end apparently, but the Sync 3.4 was so crappy at connecting BT audio that this is...
Yeah that's fair, I see it now.
Kind of a start-up graphic probably, like we have on the digital clusters. Might be model specific as the Bullitt has a dedicated Bullitt one, F150 and Raptor and Bronco do too..
So probably the model/graphic drives across the screen and brings up your cluster...
Actually, not totally out of the left field.
On the right side it almost looks like a screen bezel, but from the screen we've seen from the interior leaks, that wouldn't be there like that.
Probably a picture of another screen with the rendering on it.
Add 6.8 and 2.3, then carry the 5-oh, subtract a square root of 5 and you got a 7.3L Godzilla, I bet they stuffed it under the hood.
7.3. Illuminati confirmed.
Yup, literally just watching his video right now.
It's kind of funny to watch someone love the Bullitt as much as I do. Smiles for miles on the commute and never realized how loud it really is.
At the fear of looking like a weirdo quoting my own post, but that's what I was saying earlier - if we saw the spy shots before, they looked VERY much like the actual interior.
So if this is any indication, this interior is almost done then, not a "concept."
I've mentioned that I was glad for at least some physical controls and also mentioned that am glad they didn't use the horrid tablet from the Mach-E and Lighting and honestly, as sad that is to say, I think we might be lucky that we get what we get, if early pictures are any notification of...
