Ford CEO Jim Farley Drives the S550 Supercar with Jimmy Fallon

NO UR UGLY 🤬 Just kidding, but despite the refresh not looking as technically cohesive as the original, I still find the refresh less boring (for lack of a better term) than the original.

    Mustang EV Coupe Concept Thread

The only thing I can think of is to pipe some sound to resemble acceleration and/or maintaining speed inside the car. Whether that sound resembles various V8s from the Mustangs over the years, or an orchestra of adorable kittens meowing...just something energetic to keep me wide awake on a long...

Custom Gauges - Digital Means Infinite Possibilities

I'd go with '13-'14 Boss 302 gauges personally.

First Time Driving Cars Fast On A Track

🙃 Simple answer is the Civic doesn't interest me. And I've no interest in modding my daily driver, at least not right away, if ever. I will say this though, if the new Prius has driving dynamics like the Civic Si and still get 50+ MPG overall, I think Toyota will have a real winner on their...

First Time Driving Cars Fast On A Track

Sorry, I should've clarified that the 200hp-and-under cars I'm considering for my next car would NOT be track-driven. For those, I'm just wondering if they can be enjoyed at typical speed limit levels and slightly above. Maybe take a traffic light right turn a little more spiritedly than...

First Time Driving Cars Fast On A Track

Thanks everyone for your responses. Where to start from here... The car in question would be the newly debuted 2023 Toyota Prius with 196HP/AWD. Alternatively I'd be looking at the most recent Mazda 3 hatchback with AWD and without the turbocharged engine. Either one of those two, or a S650...

First Time Driving Cars Fast On A Track

Earlier today I got a chance to drive both a Porsche 992 GT3 and a Mercedes AMG GT R for a few laps each at SpeedVegas/Exotics Racing. It was my first time ever driving on a track. On the one hand I liked finally experiencing what it's like to go all-out (as much as a newcomer can, anyways) on...

Gray S650 Mustang GT spotted on road

Oh hi, nice looking decklid lip spoiler! (I also like those rims.) Now when does a white GT get it's chance to shine?

Silver 2024 Mustang GT S650 spotted

I'm still waiting to see a Mustang (preferably a GT) with a smaller decklid spoiler, something similar to what was on the Black Accent Package.

S650 steering and handling is night and day difference compared to S550 Mustang says Chief Engineer Ed Krenz

Hack and OppoLock, thank you for your replies to my questions. Even if my driving is limited to the streets, I think I have a better understanding now of handling/steering feel than I did previously.

S650 steering and handling is night and day difference compared to S550 Mustang says Chief Engineer Ed Krenz

I guess my next question would be...what parts of handling and steering feel are subjective, and which parts are based on factual data? (For reference, I daily drive my EcoBoost with Sport steering. I tried driving on Normal a few days ago and it felt too light in my mind taking a sharp turn.)

S650 steering and handling is night and day difference compared to S550 Mustang says Chief Engineer Ed Krenz

Is there a general consensus on a car with the "best handling/steering feel"? (My guess would be the Miata.)

Ezra Dyer: Mustang Is a Vibe.... It's an Attitude, Not a Format.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for a sedan/sportback take on a Mustang. :headbang: (They don't even have to call it a Mustang and I'd still strongly consider getting one.) That's my vibitude.

What’s your 1 best and 1 worst feature of the S650 Mustang?

Best: the exterior (GT) Worst: HVAC only accessible through the touchscreen (more of a learning curve annoyance than a dealbreaker)

Chief Engineer of S650 Mustang talks Coyote, EcoBoost, Dark Horse Upgrades

Guess I'm the only one who unironically likes the Dark Horse name, despite unintentionally almost spelling it as "Dark House" on my phone numerous times. Besides using past names, what would've been a better name in everyone else's minds?

GT or Dark Horse? (The Important Differences)

    This is a stretch, but I made this correlation: S550 - Foxbody 2018-2023 Facelift - SN95 S650 - New Edge

Poll- Do you like the new interior?

To be clear, there's still no official media of the base interior besides some concept artwork, correct?

GT or Dark Horse? (The Important Differences)

I may not understand all the technicalities and terminologies associated with engaging handling/driving, but I think that explains at least a little bit why the S550 GTs I've had the opportunity to test drive aren't as engaging on the turns as my EcoBoost feels like it is. I guess if I were to...

GT or Dark Horse? (The Important Differences)

    1. What awful steering habits does the current GT have? 2. Price and complete lack of track ambitions aside, I'd consider a Dark Horse if it weren't for the gray parts underneath the headlights. That's the one design element that just about ruins it for me. 😕

GT or Dark Horse? (The Important Differences)

Sorry for reviving this out of nowhere, but I had a thought. I read on another thread that the Dark Horse should have better handling than the GT. That got me thinking, is a square or staggered tire/wheel setup better for a handling-focused vehicle?
