I meant complimentary as in: alongside. It's a good pairing. For a Mustang household like mine ( we have a mustang and a fusion.) It's the perfect replacement. There is no new fusion, I'm not getting rid of my GT, a Mach-E fits well in that space.
Ill say what I’ve always said, based off of widespread experience in business. Anecdotal evidence isn’t really objective evidence at all and can’t really counter the hard sales numbers. While I believe what you’ve heard, people who don’t like something are statistically far more likely to say...
For sure, I've hard plenty of people not liking it as well, however anecdotal statements simply can't override sales success. I'd bet my dollar anyone who saying "I like it as a car but I won't buy it because of the name" is someone who wouldn't have bought it regardless of what it's called.
I...
Disaster is a strong word for a vehicle that hit its sales goals with ease and got rave reviews both as a car and in comparison to its competitors. I know we enthusiasts had to let our ego's heal, but the other 98% of people in the world were un-phased by the name. If anything I'd be willing to...
100% agree with this. The S550PP I bought was decent handling out of the box. But after about $1000 in various steeda parts it started handling like a much more expensive car. Even my not so mechanically inclined girlfriend noticed the difference.
Those big ass tires, quad tipped exhaust, and what appears to be a camouflaged chin spoiler would typically be indicative of a performance trim of some sort....
The 2.3 isn't desired because of the marketing image of Mustang not really lending to anything that isn't a V8. A smaller, 4.0TT engine would be a completely different engine that that one with a much higher baseline.
You can squeeze more power out of a turbo engine way easier and for way less...
Agreed. The Kia Stinger has shown us there's a market for a fast, good looking 4 door that's everyday usable. They just couldn't climb past their own reputation as a brand.
If executed correctly Ford could really do something incredible with this space and build a car that punches well above...
Wondering if Ford will ruin the center
stack by going all in on touch screens
and doing away with hard hvac/ radio
controls.
That would make it a hard pass for me.
Man people are really quick to naysay a car that they haven't driven yet. Maybe we wait until we've driven it before we get sad about the platform sharing? Every time a new gen starts to come around we have this same conversation....
In Fords current financial state there is absolutely zero...
Going hybrid is a crazy move and not for people who care about that old-school feel. Everyone knows performance is all about keeping things the same. That's why I only commute and go to track days in my covered wagon. All these young kids with their new fangled "tires" will never get the feel of...
Why even post here then? This is a bit like having a terrible experience at a restaurant and then hanging about in the parking lot to tell people you didn't enjoy it....
I get where you're coming from, and as tough of a pill as it is to swallow, I've come to the conclusion that us wrenching on our own cars is on the way out with anything new and will be limited to older and classic cars as folks like us are in the minority. As far as cost to repair and maintain...
I'd absolutely love to hear the "adverse global consequences" of solar power. I've always been curious as to why there's so much pushback on things like this. There's nothing wrong with progress. Fair enough if you don't think ICE cars are having an adverse effect on the environment. What is...
I'm not sure why there's so much fear about losing the V8. Wouldn't it be equally plausible they would just to a more efficient smaller displacement ecoboost turbo V8 like Mclaren's 3.8 or Bentley and Mercedes 4.0?
