Try again. S550 is a ground up new platform. The "heavily modified" version of the Gen 6 Mustang died in 2011..

Well take a look at what Ram has done with their 1500.. An electric motor attached directly to the engine that adds roughly 16HP and 130ft/lb's of torque in certain conditions..IE low RPM, etc.. It's said to increase fuel economy and performance. I'd dig something like that in a mustang.

Not so much on the ADM's. Ford's already been paid once a vehicle hits a showroom floor..they're fat and happy with whatever the dealership was charged and paid. The dealership is the only one who loses when a car sits on a lot due to ADM. And keep in mind, the "S" in MSRP stands for...

The S550 is all new. Back in 2011/2012 the original plan was to evolve the S197 platform, however that was trashed in 2013 and they started a from the ground up.

Unlikely a S650 will have a V8 as a GT, which is meant for entry level "performance". My guess a 3.5EB will be the GT motor, with the 5.0 being up trimmed

It depends on what they're trying to do with a hybrid/electric augment Mustang. If it's supposed to showcase the EcoBoost, ala the FGT and Raptor, then yes I could see it as being expensive and at the top of the heap.

Then go find yourself a nice 92 GT, plop a 408W into it, build it up and spank both their asses with a easy low 10 second pass. Seriously...just because there will be a hybrid option doesn't mean it's going to somehow erase all the years of V8 powered Mustangs..including the V8 Mustang it'll...

It's just going to be an option. The Mustang was designed to appeal to everyone, and have something for everyone. This just carries on that principle.
