  1. My take on the initial build quality.

    I think I may also have the rear bumper issue. I noticed after 2k miles it start to separate a few millimeters near the taillight. I also started to hear excessive creaking near the trunk. I wrapped tape around the rear seat hooks as another post suggested but no luck.

    I hear clunking from time to time too. Thought it was just some slop in the driveshaft but if it’s faulty I would like to know. Usually occurs when I’m waiting at the stop light and engage the 1st gear in the manual. It hasn’t been repeatable though. I have the Torsen as well. I vaguely...

    Mine took about two weeks to ship from the In Production date. Also, it seemed like the updates were pushed to the website Monday morning. Check on Monday again.

    I’m here in north Texas and mine shipped on 12/13. Still waiting for delivery. Estimated delivery is 12/26 to 1/1 but dealer doesn’t have it yet.

    I thought the X-plan fees are limited to $300 and the dealer must ask Ford to cover their remaining amount? Any information on how the fees are handled with X-plan would be helpful to make sure they don’t add anything more. I’m planning on using the X-plan for my order.

    As I was leaving the dealer, the sales rep said he was going to bug his manager to try and get the priority pushed up. I just figured it was just something he told everyone. Thanks to this forum I was able to go in prepared for the order!
