I hear ya, lucky I’ve always had a older Bronco or F150 4X for a bad weather beater…dry cold weather no problem, wet slush and slop…. truck time!

I have the stock Pro Contact Continentals as well , haven’t noticed any traction issues yet this winter on cold dry roads here in Pa…..

Yeah, very strange that they didn’t explain where it was located in the manual…it has definitely been an awesome option to have this winter, works well and the engine comes right up to temperature quickly!

Driver side tucked in just ahead of the air filter box.. I had to hunt for it as well!

Thanks, i‘ve always liked that stripe on the 85/86. Painted one like it on my 89’ GT vert and 90’ LX 5.0 Knotch that I had a few years back as well!

Hey thanks, yes it’s was a special order Dark Brown Metallic on the build sheet which was a T Bird option in 70’. Bought the car from my brother in 78’ right out of high school with a rod knock for $1800 . Broke a connecting rod racing a Camaro on the way to work.. had to sleeve 1 cylinder but...

I Definitely drive them all winter so they don’t sit long enough for normal hibernation. Got block heaters and trickle chargers on so they are ready to fire up and hit the road as soon as they are cleared which luckily doesn’t take long with the rain vs snow we usually get now..

We were lucky for 3 years with no snow …that ended Monday with them dumping road salt and brine with more on the way tomorrow. I‘ve been driving the Mustangs thru the winter when roads are clear…..for now gotta just keep them exercised in the driveway until the next thaw and rain !
