All factors that need to be weighed when choosing a shop. Thank you guys for giving me your inputs. Now it's time to start making some phone calls.

I will certainly be asking the question of how they (the installer I end up choosing) would handle a warranty claim. I have talked to only one installer so far and he said they recommend a yearly inspection. I would expect at least a yearly inspection and preferably twice a year if I had concerns.

Question for those that have had it done with the "better" brands of coatings... is it warrantied by the shop or the manufacturer of the coating? If the shop closes, how do I get it serviced? From what I understand, yearly touch-ups are recommended and would be covered by the shop I have talked to.

Yes I agree that is how L is on my Ecoboost and I don't want to lose that functionality. The problem is when I did the mod for gear display my L position no longer worked that way. It acted like it was neutral. What I'd like is to have both. It's looking like I'm just going to have to get a...

Cool. Let me know how your testing goes. That's how L works on my car and I don't want to lose that functionality because it could be used to engine brake the car in an emergency. I tried L and my car would slowly downshift gear by gear if I just let it continue coasting with no throttle input.
